Anna Elfving

Program Manager
A native of Finland, Anna Elfving joined ImagineNations in October 2007 as program manager.

From 2005 until 2007, Elfving worked for the United Nations Office of the Special Envoy for the future status process for Kosovo, serving as the special assistant to the Special Envoy Mr. Ahtisaari. Mr. Ahtisaari, president of Finland during 1994-2000, is the chairman of the Crisis Management Initiative (CMI), a NGO he founded in 2000. Elfving served as his special assistant at CMI from 2004 until 2005.

Elfving graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2004 with a master's degree in international relations and from the University of Helsinki with a bachelor's degree in political science. Previous work experiences include traineeships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Finnish Institution of International Affairs.
