ImagineNations and CCC Co-Lead First Joint Seeing is Believing Trip
PASADENA, Md. (2 November 2005) - With the support of its partners at the Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College and Friends of Zambia, the ImagineNations Group is leading its fourth Seeing is Believing trip to Southern Africa.
From November 2-10, ImagineNations will be taking a group of 20 investors, philanthropists, business leaders and their children to Zambia to continue to deepen its relationships in the country. Seeing is Believing trips are designed to increase interest in and understanding of the needs of people living in poor countries and, in so doing, to heighten levels of philanthropic, corporate and private support and investments.
Trip participants will be introduced to villages, youth projects and urban centers, entrepreneurs and government leaders. This trip is partially supported by the Nike Foundation.
"We are excited about our latest partnership with the Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College in organizing this in-depth trip," said Rick Little, president and CEO of ImagineNations. "Previous Seeing is Believing trips to Zambia have proven to result in major new investments, new partnerships and innovative opportunities, and we look forward to continuing our work in Zambia and also to leading upcoming Seeing is Believing trips to other regions in the world."
